Education: Doug graduated in 2014 from Buffalo Grove High School & Started his study at the University of Texas (Government) in Austin.
Family: Doug's father Jeff Ghim and mother Susan both were born in South Korea. They immigrated to the United States at different times, and they met in Chicago. His mother was a flight attendant and father Jeff worked as an architect for a few years. Doug Ghim has a sister named Deborah who graduated from Harvard. His current Residence is in Las Vegas.
At the age of six, Ghim learned the golf game from his dad. His parents worked very hard for funding to form their son's golf career. Though arranging money for this was critical for them. The height of this young golfer is 5'9", and weight is 165 pounds.
He enjoys music in his free time. He has a little interest in other sports. He supports the American Junior Golf Association's ACE Grant which helps the young men and women financially who want to achieve a college golf scholarship. He has a superstition to keep tees in the right pocket and golf ball in the left pocket.
