1. Elbow Injuries

5. Knee Injuries

Knee pain is one of the typical golf injuries. It happens because of several reasons. 8. Hand and Finger Injuries

9. Tendinitis

Generally, the golfers experience De Quervain’s tendinitis. The typical symptoms of tendinitis are – Pain, swelling, and tenderness at the wrists close to the thumb’s base. Usually, people have Pain at the left wrist when doing a backswing. It happens because of the swelling in the tendons that control the thumb. 10. Hip Injuries

While playing golf, compared to any other body parts, the hip is the most vulnerable to getting injured. Although, the hip is a mobile organ and it can bear a lot of weight and stress. For practising golf swing, golf players need to do turning and twisting movement. And during a swing, they also need to adduct repeatedly. And that imposes an enormous amount of force on the hip. Groin strains and low back injuries happen due to rational and shear forces. Meanwhile, the hip joint is similar to the rotator cuff, so hip injuries are also identical to the rotator cuff’s tear.

Prevention

To prevent the injuries, you need to make the hip muscle flexible and add strength to it. So before playing golf, try to do some exercise always to warm up the muscles.
