Full Biography of Jim Carter

Jim Carter is an American professional golfer. He was born on 24th June 1961 in Spring Lake, North Carolina, United States. According to his birth year, he is now 58 years old. His full name is Jim Laver Carter, and his nickname is Prez. Jim Carter graduated in business from Arizona State University in 1984. He became a professional golf player in 1985. He also worked at Merrill Lynch from 2006 to 2009 as a financial advisor. Jim Carter lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his spouse Cyndi. And they have three children. Jim Carter’s height is 6’1″ (1.85 m), and weight is 185 pounds (84 kg). Jim Carter has an interest in outdoor games, hiking, exercise, and mountain biking. He also likes to spend time with his family. At an early age, he was very fond of playing basketball and wrestling, and he also earned the honour in these games.

Career: In his early life (before turned into professional), he won 7 awards.  In 1979 he won two events. These are Arizona State High School and Mesa City Amateur. In 1981 he won Arizona State Amateur. In 1983 he won two events. These are Southwestern Amateur and NCAA Championship. In 1984 he won two events. These events are Arizona State Amateur and Southwestern Amateur.

After becoming a professional, Jim Carter played many events. In his whole career, he won 10 games- one in PGA Tour, one in Korn Ferry Tour (KFT), and eight in other events. Qualifying for the PGA Tour was a big struggle for him, but somehow he passed it and won 1 PGA Tour events in 2000.

Season 1986: Jim Carter won at Kingman Open in 1986.

Season1987: In 1987 he also won at Scottsdale Healthcare Classic. It was his other victory event after he started playing golf like a professional player.

Season 1999: Buick Classic: In 1999, the Buick Classic was a successful event for Jim. He finished this event at T5 and in the top-10 position.
